I was having my dinner with my mum just now, then I saw this show all about the sichuan earthquake.
She was ranting,
" Why are they showing sichuan earthquake so many times? They got the money and yet they used them to help those people not in our country " .
Actually, is my mum right to say all this?I came to think about it. Actually, there shouldn't be any fault with it.
Here are some of my point of views:
" Why are they showing things about sichuan earthquake so often? "
My view: Probably because the authorities wanted us to treasure the things we have now. Though Singapore is indeed famous for its - red dot in the blue sea, I think the location of Singapore is really really great. If not, do you think I can sit down here and type, whilst you reading my post - after the tsunami disaster?
Not forgetting the fact that the people there really suffered alot ):
Yes, Sichuan earthquake definitely shocked the whole world upside down. But thanks to all those that helped out by donating, I think sichuan is trying to recover from this disaster. Go go go !
Anyway, I feel very happy to be a singaporean because I feel safe here. Despite having such scorching weather.. At least we don't experience earthquake, drought or floods right ?

"They got the money and yet they used them to help those people not in our country" My view (part 1): Actually, I agree with my mother. We have so many unfortunates in Singapore. And you can see many old uncles and aunties, even blind man selling tissues and playing music along the streets. Of course! I can't expect the govt to help
all of them..
PS: Have you ever buy those tissues from them? If you don't, give yourself a slap, because your blood is cold.
(part 2): Actually, those disaster victims don't deserve all these at all. We really should lend a helping hand to them,
since singapore is so rich.
